How open-project creators can get six months of Claude Max: Anthropic's offer and conditions

Anthropic launched support for open-source developers through six free months of Claude Max, normally USD 200 per month. The initiative gives maintainers and active contributors broader AI capabilities for their projects.
Applications use a dedicated form. One category covers influential projects and libraries, for example those supporting at least 500 dependent repositories, over 100 related software components or more than 200,000 monthly downloads.
The second category covers contributors reviewing pull requests, fixing bugs or moderating communities. Eligibility requires at least 100 accepted changes in the last 12 months. Teams from recognised projects such as CPython, Rust and Node.js are also considered.
Projects with OpenSSF Criticality Score of at least 0.4 receive preference in the source's programme.
Anthropic extended free Fable 5 access until 12 July, followed by paid API use.
The initiative shows AI companies supporting open-source ecosystems through expanded technology access. For businesses, it reinforces the need to connect technology and analytics systematically to maintain competitiveness.
AI increasingly shapes products and services. Subscriptions such as Claude Max help companies and developers analyse data, automate processes and build better solutions. In e-commerce, B2B and other sectors, marketing, analytics and product optimisation need to work together for sustainable growth.
Businesses using integrated digital marketing, analytics and AI should understand available services and trends. ProMarketing.tech recommends evaluating expanded technology access within a shared strategy focused on profit, not simply enquiry counts.
